The hope that Obama promised has, for many of us, become fear about to be realized. The excesses of the Presidency, his czars, his cabinet and his compliant army of sycophants who call themselves Democrats and Republicans, are doing everything they can to see that he is reelected. From the lackluster performance of Mitt Romney, to the despicable claims of Obama that "you didn't build that," to the attempted take down of Michele Bachman by McCain and Boehner, to the disgraceful preening of Reid, to the bilious behavior of the media, each of them are making a concerted effort to stay in power.
As a nation made up of individuals, whose core beliefs are fundamentally Christian, we have stood by and allowed this nightmare to become a vivid and bloodcurdling reality. We must VOTE! We must make every effort to Get Out The Vote! We have to stop this now. We cannot sit around and complain, wring our hands or hold our heads as if there isn't a chance to right this wrong! We owe it to ourselves and our children and the generations to come.
It is all about me
Regardless of where you come down on the issue of the
Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, the glaring issue that surfaced this
week is the narcissism of Obama.
He is all too fond of claiming to have been a constitutional law professor
but he never was; he was a “senior lecturer” at the Chicago University Law
School. And there is a very big
distinction between a tenured, published Professor of Law and a “senior
lecturer.” The difference is like
that between street basketball and Dwayne Wade, or a pasture horse and a
Kentucky Derby winner, or Keith Olberman and objective, unbiased reporting (he
was fired this month from Current TV by Al Gore.)
Obama’s insistence that the Supreme Court uphold his
signature piece of legislation begs the question of just whom this man thinks
he is and what he is trying to do?
He displays all of the earmarks of a narcissist…a clinical term that
refers to unhealthy self-absorption…including detachment from reality,
ego-centrism, exaggerated self worth and importance, the palpable sense and
display that others are not as good as oneself.
In most recovery programs, the first thing addicts learn is
that they is not the center of gravity, it is not “all about me.” To the contrary, addicts learn they
have come to believe, because of the source of their addiction (money, drugs,
alcohol, power,) that their delusion has precluded everyone around them and
they are the only person whose opinion matters. And Obama is addicted to his own aura, the one that was created
for him by his handlers, the one that was foisted upon the public, the one that
he now believes so thoroughly.
In 2008, when running for the Presidency, the New York Times
did a puff piece on Obama, but there was a telling passage: “Mr. Obama, in turn, could play the star. In what
even some fans saw as self-absorption, Mr. Obama’s hypothetical cases
occasionally featured himself. “Take Barack Obama, there’s a good-looking guy,”
he would introduce a twisty legal case.”[1]
The first question is, why didn’t the media, who skewered all of the
people running against Obama, see this flaw? Is it pride or is it hubris on the part of Obama? The difference between the two is
subtle but enough of a distinction that calls into question the notions of the
man. Pride is the first and
deadliest of the Seven Deadly Sins, that from which all other sins
proceed. Is Obama prideful? Which example would you like? Maybe his statement that “we are the
ones we have been waiting for,” or maybe it was his statement that he was proud
of Jimmy Hoffa’s statement that “President Obama, this is your army. We are
ready to march. Let’s take these son of bitches out and give America back
to where we belong.” Or maybe it is his
chastising of the Supreme Court justices, not once by twice, the first in his
State of the Union address in 2010 for the 5-4 decision on Citizens United
communication issue. The second
time was in April of this year and he said, "For years the biggest problem on the bench has been judicial
activism or a lack of judicial restraint," the president said. He went on
to say he was "pretty confident" that the court, which he referred to
as "an unelected group of people," would not "somehow overturn a
duly constituted and passed law."
Judicial activism? Really? But he is a “senior lecturer” in
constitutional law, right?
And then the press.
What about the press? Aristotledefined hubris
as shaming the victim, not because anything happened to you or might happen to
you, but merely for your own gratification. As for the
pleasure in hubris, its cause is this: men think that by ill-treating others
they make their own superiority the greater. Do you think the press is guilty of hubris? When they willfully ignore what the
president has done and it is harmful to the citizens of the country, that is
hubris and there is pleasure in that because the press believes they know
better than us, just like our prideful president.
Recently, Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta testified before Congress and said, that in order for the United States to protect its vital world interests, he would seek guidance and direction from the United Nations and...get this...if he thought it appropriate he would inform, INFORM, Congress of their decision. Said former Congressman Tom Tancredo, “This week it was Secretary of Defense Panetta’s declaration before the Senate Armed Services Committee that he and President Obama look not to the Congress for authorization to bomb Syria but to NATO and the United Nations,” Tancredo writes. “This led to Rep. Walter Jones, R-N.C., introducing an official resolution calling for impeachment should Obama take offensive action based on Panetta’s policy statement, because it would violate the Constitution.” This is treason! He should be impeached. Congressman Jones introduced House Concurrent Resolution 107 as a response to Panetta. Go here to see Panetta's comments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edkVzWRxT
Sierra Club Bribe: Business As Usual
The $26M bribe accepted by the Sierra Club, the marquis environmental spokesgroup (some might call them extremist in the fashion of the Obama approved OWS movement) who led the fight against job creating with the Keystone pipeline, accepted blood money from one energy producer to fight against another energy producer. There is no question that Sierra Club has lost the environmental moral highground and their ability to speak about their pristine motives. Everyone respects a worthy opponent, even if you disagree with their objectives. But when that opponent displays their basest, most tawdry and seamy motives it creates a conundrum for those who supported the group. Only the hardcore environmentalists will slough off the charge of "industrial nepotism" and see this as a great blow against the Satan of Energy, coal and coal producers. But what this does is causes too many fissures in the facade of the environmental movement that they, just like the people who make a living of sucking off the oxygen of Washington DC, are willing to sell themselves (whore is a word that comes to mind) for a few bucks.
The Sierra Club is bankrupt, just like the Obama administration, and just like the Obama administration, they are willing to do whatever, and to say whatever it takes to achieve their ends.
Straw Poll Event a Success
The West Jersey Tea Party straw poll event was a success. With a majority of members participating, the evening's highlight was the music provided by Presti Trio, father, son and daughter. The results of the poll had Rick Santorum winning with a little more than 30% of the vote and Gingrich in second with 26%. To make the vote official we had an electronic voting booth donated by Justin Murphy.
In the US Senate straw poll, State Senator Michael Doherty easily was the first choice with over 60% of the vote and Anna Little placed second with 30% of the vote.
Thank you, to all of those who made this evening a success!
The Man Who is the President is a Liar
The man who currently occupies the position of President of the United States is a bald faced liar. In his Osawatomie KS speech he said that the free markets don't work and have never worked. Here is a tidbit for Barry to chew on:
According to the annual World Wealth Report from Merill Lynch and Capgemini, the US had 3.1 million millionaires in 2010, up from 2.86 million in 2009. The latest figure tops the pre-crisis of three million.
Seems to be working for these folks. And how about Blue Oregon?
Millionaire households in Oregon will almost triple in number by 2020, according to a new study by Deloitte LLP’s global financial consulting group, the Center for Financial Services. Deloitte projects that Oregon will have the third highest growth in millionaire households from 2010 through 2020 among all the states.
That man, Barry the Barman, lied. He said that free market principles have never worked and never will as he continued to stoke the class warfare fires. Ask the guys who started Facebook, Google, Twitter, Apple, Microsoft, or any other technology based networking company. How about Ford? What about Barry the Barman? What has net worth increased in the past 3 years? Why not ask Bill Ayers? Or the Reverend Wright? Remember him and his buyout clause, though you could really make the case that it was highway bribery in that case. Despite distaste for rap music, how many rap "artists" have overcome the mean streets and found their way into the millionaires club?
People will become millionaires because they (1) work hard (2) don't piss away their money on frivolous items (3) work harder (4) invest in their future (5) get up and try again rather than winge (6) aren't afraid of getting up early or working late (7) have enough foresight to spot trends (8) believe in themselves and that they can do it despite the odds (9) take risks and the rewards that come with them and the lumps that sometimes come with the risks (10) are thoughtful, creative, smarter than those who piss and moan about their own misfortune and ultimately win.
Is the Sustainable Environmental Movement Racist?
Based upon the current literature, the conclusion one reaches is that the environmental movement is one of the most racist efforts by the elitists ever perpetrated on the American people. Beginning with the ideas of population control and smart growth and progressing to the rewilding of America (and other continents), the intended culmination of the environmental movement is fewer people in less space and more animals with more space.
The feel good nature of the environmental movement contends the embracing of social equity (redistribution of wealth and property) and environmental justice is really what they are all about. But when one digs beneath the emotional tripe that passes for rational argument, one discovers that there is a persistent bias against minorities. Regardless of where the greenies reside (in the US or Europe) makes no difference. What they don't want is for third world minority populations to emigrate to western nations. If you look at the Rewilding Institute's website (http://rewilding.org/rewildit/) and look at the navigation bar on the left, you will find a page called entitled "Human Population Growth." Click on that and then scrolling down, you will find a discussion called Immigration and Biodiversity. In the call-out box next to that title, the Rewilding Institute, points out a few "hell hole" countries. Many of those countries have emigres in many of the Western nations.
The argument the Rewilding Institute makes is that people who emmigrate from third world countries to Western societies, when they arrive, tend to have larger families than the western families and bigger families than they would have had they stayed in the country of origin. This is due to the material goods and pleasures they enjoy as a result of participating in the new society...better jobs, income, health care, social experiences...and they want to pass that newly discovered wealth on to their children. That is a bad thing, according to the Rewilding Institute and they don't want these people to come here; rather stay in the poor country and we will export abortion clinics to you and that way you can improve your life...and not affect mine.
The prognositcators of the green movement have been wrong on nearly every count, from the earth cooling (1970) to its warming (1992); from the population outstripping the ability to find food stuffs to the rise of a green and bucolic life.
The basis of their efforts has been and will continue to be, population control or murder by any other name. And their primary target here in the U.S. and elsewhere is the minority centers of humanity. Why else would Planned Parenthood have 78% of their abortion clinics located in high-density minority cities? Why else would they foster the idea of abortions across the minority heavy third world countries? It is simple...they hate minorities.
Occupy Wall Street?
Those who think that any gains will be made by the Occupy Wall Street are sorely mistaken. By and large those who are participating in that event in NY and other cities around the country, the only gain that will come of it is a demonstration that the Obama administration favors the mob over the voter. Mobs have been a part of the left extremist historical picture since time immemorial. The French Revolution was mob led and inspired some of the most brutal behaviour in European history. Tens of thousands of Frenchmen were murdered under the flag of égalité. The incoherence of the mob echoes precisely the message from Washington DC, from President Obama and his Democratic Party. It is saddening to see the United States Government embrace the thug behavior of that sector of society who wants everything for nothing.
When one stops and thinks about it, these people are claiming to protest against the "greed" of the bankers on Wall Street. It is worthwhile to explore this sin, one of the deadliest of the seven deady sins. For those among us who have forgotten what those seven sisters are, they are: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and gluttony. While the "demands" of the occupiers is confused and slurred, the one thread that clearly runs through them is one: greed. Those who currently people this horde are demanding they they be given whatever they want for nothing they have contributed to society. That is the definition of greed. It is also the definition of envy, since they have not worked to earn it they want it because someone else has it because they have earned it. They are slothful, lounging in a park, littering and defecating (defying the green movement) and not doing anything that is useful or positive. They are full of pride for their "accomplishments" which can be listed only as inspiring other slugs around the country. They are lustful, since lust is the first cousin to envy. And lest we forget, they are gluttonous, using the facilities and buildings around them with no regard for those who live in the neighborhood. And lastly they are wrathful, and an unjustified wrath. There have already been arrests for anti-social behavior and they have promised violence in response to police presence. We roundly condemn these socialist goons and their union leader friends and pray that the police are restrained in the eventual response.
